yay for productivity, good friends, hot summer weather and good food! last night, pam came by and we ate some delicious cabbage salad, drank sangria and created some beautiful wedding crafts out of some round discs of mdf. i'm surprised at our steady hands considering all the booze and laughter.
i liked the idea of a polka-dot wall at blim but wasn't sure how the owner of the space would react to us painting directly on her walls. i figured this would be the next best thing and since it's a gallery space, why not hang up some wedding-themed art! okay, obviously, i don't have a wedding theme or even wedding colours. i'm not creating "branding" for this wedding, so it's okay if our different pieces of wedding collateral are designed differently. the pre-wedding stuff is one thing, the wedding day stuff is another and the thank you cards will still be another colour/design. can you tell that i get bored easily? c thinks people will be confused. i say, who cares.
this morning, i woke up early and went to the gym and felt great. the fact that c made me a pancake breakfast before i went certainly helped me work out longer and stronger than i have all week. my day is planned out and i'm crossing off lists and feeling alive and in charge. it's a good feeling.
