i woke up this morning to the sound of cornelius puking. this could have been a sign of a bad day ahead, but it wasn't. the sun was shining, and the puking was over in a jiff. c blamed some mexican lemon-lime soda that he drank last night.
i worked from home today, did some finishing touches on a freelance site and sold a dresser for $40. c didn't work but he did put together our ikea wardrobe system and now we look like some organized couple from the ikea catalogue. hooray. c and i went for a late lunch/early dinner at hon's and i we ended up chatting with a couple who were visiting from portland, oregon! i still haven't made myself a birthday cake but i think that is definitely on the list for tonight. in fact, i think that cupcakes and some america's next top model viewing (thanks for the tip, myra-lee!) will make for one perfect evening.
i'm feeling lazy. don't bug me.
