i had the day off today and the morning was pretty much a write-off. i had some design problems with a logo i was doing and it's causing me some stress. after a bath and some inspiration away from the computer, i was able to work on another design and turn off my computer. ah, bliss! i walked to commercial drive because i needed groceries and because attic treasures, a very expensive vintage shop, has a 50% off sale. i was very safe in my purchases and bought a very pretty cake tin to whisk off my cake creations to parties and 2 matching bird wall plaques. total damage: less than twenty dollars. not so bad, tho i'm pretty stingy and would have prefered to find these items at a thrift and pay only peanuts. oh well.
