so last night after work i got my hair cut. it's nothing radically different, but it's a lot shorter and much, much cuter. i also bought a flingy, full-twirl knee length skirt that is cool and breezy -- maybe a little too breezy as i wore it to work and it seemed to hover around my bike as i rode. a flash of pink and white striped panties never hurt anyone! yes, i'm feeling pretty summery right now! and its as hott as a muthafucker.
a couple of nights ago, i rode down to the main with c to meet up with kyla and randy. it was a gorgeous summer ride and i enjoyed every minute of it....even as i cursed the worst block of hill ever (ontario street between 10th and 11th). we drank lots of the two dollar drink specials and had a crazy drunk bike ride home. the next day i had to be at work at 8am and was surprisingly refreshed. after work, c and i made a picnic dinner and ate outside on a blanket in the park across the street from our apartment. i was amazed at how full the park was with kids and parents and how friendly everyone was. we ate our sandwiches and drank orange juice and played gin until the sun went down and the park emptied out. it was a great night.
